CONSTRUCT, COMPOSE, AND CONDUCT: A MUSICAL STEAM CHALLENGE
STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
This workshop is an inquiry based activity which will demonstrate what STEAM is in everyday life. Working in teams, attendees will design and construct functioning musical instruments. Get ready for a fun, noisy workshop!

Ibrahim Bayraktar is the STEAM Coordinator at Accord Education. After getting his Bachelor Degree in Biology, he taught various science classes, and worked in administrative positions for 11 years.
He has been with Accord Education since 2009 inspiring countless students with engaging, hands-on STEAM activities. As the STEAM Coordinator, he provides resources, support and mentorship to educators, believing that a STEAM-focused education is vital to the next generation.
